02Diversifying the Gospel
Campaign diversity maximizes OneHope’s societal impact. Adapting the medium, rather than their mission, allows the Gospel to effectively reach the youth in a variety of cultures. To speak truth into a new generation, OneHope partnered with SOUTH in building a revolutionary tool for Books of Hope. This platform allows churches to customize their name and logo, and add personalized messages about specific programs. These books present the Gospel message in a relevant, compelling way, and they come in multiple versions to match specific outreach initiatives.

OneHope emphasizes simplicity throughout their process. The web store needed to honor this commitment while improving conversion. Our creative team went to work prototyping, pruning and adjusting each interaction so users could intuitively move through a complex assortment of steps.
Enabling customization meant we had to build an nearly aqueous system capable of responding to any action, copy, or file added to or removed from the document. Producing a vector, print-ready file “in browser” meant we were literally reinventing the wheel. Visual cues allow the user to remain focused on the task at hand without any navigation anxiety.
Below all interactive areas we placed three customer care items. First, an affirmation link explaining program purpose. Second, a guided platform walkthrough. Third, a strong support link to shepherd confused visitors.
More than building an intuitive interface, we wanted to forge lasting relationships. Being easily accessible to the team at OneHope throughout the project, multiple face-to-face meetings and weekly progress calls kept lines of positive communication open. As you’ll see below, the group’s performance has been incredible.

In past years, antiquated technology prevented Books of Hope from producing the returns the team knew were possible. Within the first two weeks of launching, OneHope surpassed last year’s orders by 9000%. Growth in 2015 should be even more dramatic.
